This End-User Licence Agreement ("Licence") covers Tryso POS for Windows and its updates ("Software"), provided by VVECON (trading as TRYSO). By installing or using the Software you agree to this Licence and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install it.
1. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on devices controlled by your organization, only to access your Tryso organization, while your organization has an active Tryso account and within any device or terminal limits of your plan.
2. Restrictions
You must not: copy the Software except for installation and backup; modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it (except where the law expressly allows despite this restriction); remove proprietary notices; rent, lend, sell or distribute it; bypass licence, activation or sync checks; or use it to access an organization you are not authorised to access.
3. Offline data and sync
- The Software stores sales, products, prices, customers and settings locally so you can keep selling without an internet connection. This local data is part of your Customer Data.
- You are responsible for the security of the devices on which the Software runs, including operating-system updates, disk encryption, user accounts and physical security, and for syncing regularly. Data that has not been synced can be lost if a device fails, is reset or is stolen.
- When connected, the Software syncs with your organization over TLS and sends device and diagnostic information needed to support it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Updates
The Software may download and install updates automatically. Some updates may be required to keep syncing with the Service. We may stop supporting old versions or Windows versions that no longer receive security updates from Microsoft.
5. Hardware
Receipt printers, cash drawers, barcode scanners and other peripherals are provided by their manufacturers. We try to support common devices but do not guarantee compatibility with any particular hardware.
6. Third-party components
The Software includes open-source components licensed under their own terms, which are listed in the application or available on request. Nothing in this Licence limits your rights under those licences.
7. Termination
This Licence ends automatically when your organization's account ends or if you breach it. You must then uninstall the Software. Unsynced local data should be synced or exported before uninstalling.
8. Warranty, liability and law
The warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law in the Terms of Service apply to the Software.
