This policy explains how Tryso subscriptions are priced, charged and renewed. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Cancellations and refunds are covered separately in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Plans and prices
- Tryso offers a free plan and paid plans, billed monthly or yearly. Plan features, limits (such as branches, users, products or orders) and prices are shown on our pricing page and in Billing inside the app.
- Prices are shown in the currency of your market. Where prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR), you are charged in LKR; your card issuer may convert the amount and charge its own fees.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise (see section 6).
- Some apps, add-ons, storefront themes, SMS or messaging credits and usage-based features may be charged separately. Their price is shown before you buy.
2. Payment methods
- Paid plans are charged to a payment card saved in Billing. You can save up to two cards. Cards are tokenised by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers or security codes.
- By saving a card you authorise us to charge it for the plan you select, for each renewal and for any add-ons you buy, until you cancel.
- For yearly or enterprise plans we may agree to invoice with bank transfer. Invoices are due within 14 days unless stated otherwise.
3. Free trials
- Some paid plans include a free trial. You may need to add a payment method before the trial starts.
- We will not charge you during the trial. Unless you cancel or switch back to the free plan before it ends, the paid plan starts and the card is charged automatically when the trial ends.
- One trial per organization. We may withdraw trials that are abused.
4. Renewals
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period for the same period, at the then-current price, until cancelled.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price increase for your plan. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the renewal.
- For yearly plans we send a reminder at least 7 days before renewal.
5. Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the difference for the rest of the current period, pro-rata, and the new price applies from the next renewal.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. You must bring your usage within the new plan's limits; features not included in the new plan become read-only or unavailable.
- Switching to the free plan takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
6. Taxes
Fees are exclusive of value added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax, digital services tax, withholding tax and similar taxes. We add taxes where we are required to collect them, and they are shown on your invoice. If you are a business and give us a valid tax registration number, a reverse-charge or exemption may apply where the law allows. If you must withhold tax from a payment, you must gross up the payment so that we receive the full fee, unless the law prevents it, and give us the withholding certificate.
7. Invoices
A tax invoice or receipt is issued for each payment and is available in Billing. Please keep your organization's legal name, address and tax number up to date; we cannot re-issue invoices for past periods after the tax period closes, except where the law requires.
8. Failed payments and grace period
- If a renewal charge fails, we retry and notify the owner by email and in the app.
- Your organization then has a 7-day grace period during which everything keeps working. Update your card or pay the invoice during this time.
- If payment is still outstanding after the grace period, the organization may be suspended as described in the Organization and Account Policy or moved to the free plan. Paying the outstanding amount restores the plan.
- Repeated failed or declined charges on the same card may cause that card to be blocked for security reasons.
- Overdue invoiced amounts may bear interest at 1% per month or the maximum lawful rate, whichever is lower, plus reasonable collection costs.
9. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, contact [email protected] first — we will investigate and refund where a mistake was made. If you file a chargeback for a valid charge, we may suspend the organization until it is resolved and recover the chargeback fee.
10. Payments to your storefront
Payments your End Customers make on your storefront or POS go through the payment gateway you configure (such as PayHere, OnePay, Koko or MintPay) under your own merchant agreement with that provider. Tryso does not receive or hold those funds. See the Merchant and Storefront Policy.
