Data Deletion Instructions

How to delete your account, your organization, or data received from Google, Meta, TikTok and Cloudflare.

Last updated

This page explains exactly how to delete data held by Tryso — your user account, a whole organization, or data we received from Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Cloudflare or another connected platform. It is the data deletion instructions URL for our platform apps.

1. What we hold

Data Where it comes from
Your profile: name, email, phone, photo, password hash, Google account ID You, or Sign in with Google
Organization records: products, orders, customers, invoices, employees, files You and your members
Integration credentials: encrypted access and refresh tokens, account and zone IDs Google, Meta, TikTok, Cloudflare, Shopify and others you connect
Integration data: ad accounts, campaigns, creatives, insights, synced orders and products The platforms above
Billing records: invoices, payment references, card token and last four digits You and our payment provider
Logs: sign-in, security and activity logs Automatically

2. Disconnect a platform (removes platform data)

  1. Sign in and open the organization.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations (for ads: Marketing → Ads; for Cloudflare: Settings → Domains).
  3. Choose the platform and click Disconnect.

What happens: access stops immediately; the stored tokens are deleted and revoked where the platform allows; campaign, creative and insight copies received from that platform are deleted within 30 days. DNS records we created in Cloudflare are left in place so your site keeps working — delete them in Cloudflare if you no longer need them.

You can also remove access from the platform side:

  • Facebook / Instagram: Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Tryso, click Remove. Meta tells us and we delete the related data as above.
  • Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions → Tryso → Remove access.
  • TikTok for Business: Settings → Authorized apps (or the advertiser account's app management), remove Tryso.
  • Cloudflare: dashboard → My Profile → Authorized applications (or API tokens), revoke Tryso.

3. Delete your user account

  1. Sign in and open Profile (from the menu under your name, or https://tryso.lk/profile).
  2. Under Delete account, click Delete my account.
  3. Type your email address to confirm, and your password if your account has one (accounts that only use Sign in with Google confirm with the email alone).

If you own an organization that is still open, close it first (section 4) or ask [email protected] to hand it to another member; the button stays disabled until then.

What happens: you are signed out, and your profile, password, Google sign-in link, sessions, roles and organization memberships are deleted immediately. Remaining copies in backups are overwritten within 35 days. Records you created inside an organization stay with that organization because they belong to it, but are no longer linked to an active user.

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the account's email address with the subject "Delete my account" and we will do it for you within 30 days.

4. Close an organization and delete its data

  1. The organization owner signs in and opens Organizations.
  2. Click Close next to the organization.
  3. Type the organization name to confirm, and your password if your account has one.

What happens:

  1. The dashboard and storefront go offline immediately and any paid plan ends without a further charge (refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy).
  2. For 30 days the organization shows as Closed and the owner can click Reopen to restore it on the free plan — reopen it if you need to export data.
  3. After 30 days its database, files, domains, members, invitations and integration credentials (including the Cloudflare token, which is revoked) are permanently deleted.
  4. Backup copies are overwritten within a further 35 days.

Organizations on legal hold or under an abuse investigation cannot be closed by the owner; contact [email protected].

5. Ask us to delete it

For any other deletion — for example a single platform's data when you can no longer sign in — email [email protected] from the email address on the account with the subject "Data deletion request" and tell us:

  • the account email and, if relevant, the organization name;
  • whether you want the account, an organization, or a specific platform's data deleted.

We verify the request (and, for an organization, that you are its owner), confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days. We send you a confirmation with a reference number that you can use to check the status.

6. What we must keep

We keep only what the law requires after deletion — our own invoices and payment records (tax law, generally at least 6 years) and minimal security logs — and nothing else. These are not used for any other purpose.

7. Shoppers at a store

If you bought from a store powered by Tryso, that store controls your data. Contact the store to delete it. If you cannot reach them, email [email protected] and we will forward your request.
