Cookie Policy

The cookies and similar technologies used on our site, the app and storefronts.

This Cookie Policy explains how Tryso uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage and session storage) on https://tryso.lk, in the Tryso app and on storefronts hosted by Tryso. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Strictly necessary" cookies make a site work; others remember preferences, measure use or support advertising. Local storage works in a similar way but is not sent to the server with every request.

2. Cookies set by Tryso

Our own website and app use cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary, remember a choice you made, or count visits to our public website pages. Analytics storage that lasts beyond your browser session, including Google Analytics cookies, is used only after you choose "Accept" in the website banner. We do not place advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on https://tryso.lk.

Local storage (POS, editor) Keeps offline POS data, drafts and UI state on your device Strictly necessary / preference Until cleared

Our security provider may set a cookie such as cf_clearance or __cf_bm when it checks for bots, and Cloudflare Turnstile may be used on forms to tell people from bots. These are strictly necessary for security.

3. Storefront cookies

Each business that runs a storefront on Tryso decides which analytics and marketing tools to enable, such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Insight, Pinterest, Snap, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog or Segment. Those tools may set their own cookies. The business is responsible for them and for obtaining any consent required; storefronts include a consent banner that remembers your choice in a first-party tryso_consent cookie for up to one year. Storefronts also use strictly necessary cookies for your cart, checkout, customer account and security.

4. Your choices

  • Consent banner — where non-essential cookies are used, you can accept or decline them in the banner and change your mind later by clearing the consent cookie.
  • Our website banner — on https://tryso.lk choose "Accept" or "Essential only". To change your choice later, clear this site's cookies and stored data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
  • Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and checkout from working.
  • Opt-outs — you can use tools such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, your platform ad settings, or Global Privacy Control where supported.

Strictly necessary cookies are used because they are essential to provide the service you request. Any other cookies are only used with your consent where the law (such as the EU ePrivacy Directive and UK PECR) requires it.
